  4. Boil split Bengal gram/ Chana dal with 3 tbsp of water.
  5. Switch off the flame after 1 whistle & keep it aside.
  6. Mash the cooked dal with a masher.
  7. Place a pan or kadhai & heat 1 tbsp of ghee. Add the mashed dal into the Kadhai. Then add jaggery & mix everything together.
  8. Fry for about 5 mints & cool the mixture. Add the green cardamom powder to it.
  9. Take a small portion of dough & flatten it. Stuff 2 tbsp of pooran & seal it. Press in between the palms & rub it with flour.
  10. Roll into a round about 6 inches diameter with a rolling stick.
  11. Put it on the hot griddle or tawa & heat it both the sides by applying ghee.
  12. Fry it till the pooran turns light brown in colour.
  13. Remove it from griddle & place them in a serving plate.
  14. The delicious & sweet pooran Poli is ready to eat.
