- Make a smooth tight but soft dough with wheat flour and water or milk. Apply oil. Cover and leave for 1 hours. Soak the anjeer in 1 cup of milk at the same time. Grind to a smooth paste later.
- Melt the jaggery in some water. Strain and heat to lightly thicken to smooth syrup.
- Roast the chana ata with a tbsp of ghee and keep aside
- Now add some more ghee. Add the anjeer paste and cook for 2 to 3 minutes

- Then goes in the chopped almonds
- Now add the besan
- Mix well. It will come together like this.
- Add the cardamon powder and mix well.
- Now add the jaggery syrup. Stir and mix well.Keep on low flame for few minutes. Leave to cool
- Take the rested dough. Make small lemon sized balls. Flatten a ball add 2 tbsps of stuffing and seal gathering edges to middle.
- Dust will flour and roll
- Put on hot tawa. Let it dry roast first then apply generous amount of ghee on each side and roast further.
- Place on a kitchen towel. Let the steam go then put in a casserole with a kitchen towel at the base.
