  5. To make Chapati, knead the dough in the traditional manner but make sure the dough is neither too soft nor too hard.
  6. Let's make our Puran Poli now. Take a dough ball on the rolling board, dust it with rice flour and roll a small chapati. Now stuff the Puran inside this chapati just like we make any stuffed paratha.
  7. Dust this stuffed Puran chapati ball again with a little rice flour and roll it uniformly to become a circular roti / poli, neither too thick nor too thin.
  8. Do not apply pressure while rolling the stuffed chapati as it will make the Puran ooze out of the dough.
  9. Transfer this rolled poli onto a heated tawa on a medium flame and let it cook partially. Flip the poli and apply ghee on the partially cooked side. Flip again and cook the other side after applying ghee.
  10. You will see the chapati turning golden brown on both sides. Our delicious mouthwatering yummylicious Puran poli is ready. Take it off from the tawa and serve hot with a dab of ghee on top of the puranpoli.
