  5. Butter up the inside if the cup you are using to poach your egg, or (as I will try next time - because I had trouble getting my egg out in one piece) use plastic wrap to line it, enough to come right up and over the edges.
  6. Place the cup into the simmering water and break in the egg. Cook it for about five to seven minutes, depending how you like it.
  7. Toast the muffin and lightly spread it with margarine (or butter if that's what you want/got)
  8. Put the cooked bacon on your muffin (I had to use two slices as mine shrunk).
  9. Use tongs to get cup out of the water, and carefully remove your egg and put it straight on the muffin with the bacon.
  10. Season with salt and black pepper, if wanted.
  11. Put the other half if your muffin on top and there you have it!
