  17. Take 1 tsp rai(mustard seeds)
  18. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
  19. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  20. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala
  21. Take 1 tsp rosted jeera(cumin) powder
  22. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder

Traditionally kulchas are served with spicy chole (chick peas). This delicious combination is known as "Chole kulcha". Kulcha is a soft textured flatbread; this is very popular in northern states of India. The kulcha chole is made with cooked white chana or white matar with a whole load of spices, onions and tomatoes.

Steps to make Kulcha chole:
  1. In a mixing bowl add maida,curd,baking powder,baking soda,1sp ghee,1sp sugar powder mix and make dough kneading 5min and cover keep aside for 1hr.
  2. After an hour take dough and knead well and make balls and roll it sprinkle til, kalonji, coriander leaves and lightly pat.
  3. Heat pan and place on tava apply little water back and sprinkle some water on pan and cover cook on sim and cook both sides.
  4. Soak matar overnight and cook in pressure cook till soft.
  5. Heat ghee in kadai add jeera,rai and onion cook till soft add tomato and cook for a while add masalas mix it well cook for sometime and mater chole is ready. Take serving plate arrange chole and kulcha with green chetney and onion rings.
