  1. In a pan add water, salt and oil and let it boil. In a bowl add the rice flour and add hot boiling water little by little. Do not add all. Keep it aside the remaining water. Mix it well. Close it with lid and let it cool for 10 mins. Knead it into a soft dough for 5 to 10 mins.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 portions and make a ball of it. Dip one ball in the rice flour and also dust some rice flour on the rolling board. Start patting the bhakri in circular moment with the tip of your fingers. Incase you feel it's sticking on the rolling board.Slightly lift the bhakri and dust some more flour below and start patting again. Make sure the edges should not tear. (You can also roll the bhakri with rolling pin, but the patted bhakri taste awesome and the texture looks great).
  3. Heat the tava and on medium flame place the bhakri carefully. Face the bhakri side where we applied the flour on upward side.Apply water (boiled water kept aside) on upwards side of the bhakri. Increase the flame on high and allow the bhakri to cook and then flip it. Gently press the bhakri with a kitchen kerchief which will make the bhakri puff up.
  4. Relish it.
