Instructions to make Gnocchi:
- Wash, peel and cook potatoes
- When potatoes is done(make sure it’s not over cooked).. mash and let it cool.
- Add flour,salt and egg to mashed potatoes and knead(this is why you need to let it cool so that the heat doesn’t cook the egg)
- Roll out on a board an cut as shown below
- Now you can boil your gnocchi at this level but I like to shape mine (you can make it into any pattern of choice)
- In a pot of boiling water, put in dough.. it will sink to the bottom of the pot and come up when it’s done
- Drain and serve as you wish (I already made tomato sauce so I mixed it in some sauce) Enjoy🦋
