- Now flip the roti and half cook it. Now its time to take down pan off the heat and put roti up side down on flame directly. It will puff and become lighter. Our Bhakri is ready now. You can add some ghee on top of it.
- Now to make zunka, soak chana dal at least for 3-4 hr. Now grind chana dal until it become smooth paste.
- Heat oil in kadhai. Add mustard seeds in it. As soon as it starts popping add cumin seeds. Now add ginger garlic, green chilis and curry leaves in it.
- Now add finely chopped onion and asafoetida, red chili powder and turmeric, cook it until onions become golden brown.
- Now add our chana dal paste in it. Stir it continuously 4-5 mins otherwise it will stick to the bottom of kadhai and burn.
- Sprinkel some water so our zunka won't become too dry. Add salt at this stage. Put lid on it and let it cook for another 5-10 mins
- Now our zunka is ready. Add some raw onion and coriander leaves top of it. Pour some peanut oil on it. Its ready to eat with bhakri.
